In order to explore the performance of commonly-used summarizing tools available on the Internet, 5 such tools (smmry, resoomer, textcompactor, simplish & tools4noobs) were fed the following 3 scientific texts taken from the Internet about the immune system: We are surrounded by millions of bacteria, viruses and other microbes that have the potential to enter our bodies and cause harm.
